I hired Dressed By Jess to help me with an upcoming Caribbean vacation and boy did she nail it! She helped me step out of my comfort zone of boring basics into fun and stylish looks. And she thought of everything! She had accessories, sandals, beachwear, and both casual and dressier options. Everything fit perfectly, like it was made for me! Jessica really takes her time getting to know you and your style. She's so unbelievably patient when helping you shop. Jessica helped me pick out pieces I wouldn't have considered and fell in love with! She truly has an eye for styling and is the real deal. Before I started working with Jess, I would have rated myself as an average dresser. I certainly didn't think there was anything wrong with the way that I dressed, but I would not have considered myself fashionable or chic or particularly stylish. I found working with Jess to be relaxed and fun and surprising! I NEVER would have tried on some of the pieces that Jess suggested on my own. It is not as though she suggested anything outrageous, but I just wouldn't have known what would look good, what size I should really be wearing, how I could accentuate my best features and how I could feel sexy (gasp!) and chic and like I knew what I was doing! Jess completely changed the way that I felt about clothes. I get so excited to dress to go out now. She did more than just put together a great outfit for me or suggest a great piece for my wardrobe: she built my confidence and showed me how to feel sexy and strong and have fun with clothes! She is talented and humble and my favorite personal stylist/secret weapon.

Jess is so good at what she does because she is able to understand my own personal style and choose pieces accordingly. She has chosen dresses for me that I would never have thought to try myself, and they look amazing!

When I first met Jess, I was using online clothing subscriptions (Trunk Club, Stitch Fix, etc.) and having no luck. Over the years, she helped me purchase outfits for everyday life, work, special events as well as a few “forever” pieces like formal dresses, jackets, boots, etc. Occasionally she would push me out of my comfort zone (the color red), but she always respected my opinion and helped me find clothing that I felt good in. She never made me feel pressured to purchase anything – the focus was always on only purchasing things that I felt good in and would wear again and again. I am SO excited that she is returning to the world of personal styling! I can’t wait to take advantage of her expertise and great sense of style over the upcoming months and years!

I really like to shop for myself, because I am so particular about my style, but Jess Carey has been my go to stylist for years. She consistently knows what is on trend for the moment, and how to work it into my classic taste. I needed a dress for an outdoor wedding, and she grabbed a size 0 Alice and Olivia dress off the rack. I thought she was crazy… “that won’t fit me!” But as always, she was familiar enough with the designer, and my body… the dress was perfect, and is a staple in my closet to this day! I would recommend her to anyone who needs to build a wardrobe, or just find the perfect piece.
